Belgium 1866 Tige Carbine Bayonet (Keisling, Vol.4, No.990, page153) ![]()

This bayonet has a steel pommel and crossguard, and one piece horn grip. Both the pommel and crossguard have fittings to receive the rifle's bar on the barrel. The bayonet is secured by a notch on the locking catch spring which protrudes into the recess of the crossguard. Handle is dark with patina and peppering. Blade is dark with age and patina/peppering and no sharpening. No scabbard. Very rare bayonet.

Dark pommel and crossguard. 17.75" blued T-backed cutdown French Gras blade with remnants of the original French inscription still on the blade's spine. Brazilian or German 1880 Dress Musicians Short Sword (no reference). ![]()

Made by WKC (Knight's head symbol). Very nice brass handle with musician's lyre on front clamshell. Very nice double fullered blade with a couple spots of light pitting. German Marked Czech. 1895 Bayonet (Ref1,No.1,page33, Ref3,ABC176,page133) ![]()

This is a standard Czech. 1895 bayonet except that it has a German marked on the pommel. Made by 'z' in a circle and OEWG. Pommel marked 'S Czech lion 4' with a German Waffenampt proof marking. The end of the pommel is marked '52 D'. Very nice upside down blade with no sharpening. Nice metal scabbard with frog stud marked 'z in circle' and 'Czech lion 23'. Very scarce. 2nd pattern, made by Luneschloss and dated 1906 for Prussia. Nice wood grips with light patina on the handle. Matching numbers on the end of pommel and scabbard frog stud '8166' (probably used by Czechoslovakia). Nice sawback blade has light sharpening and a rounded tip. Very nice metal scabbard with about 20% black paint remaining. Very nice matching set.

Made by 'CSZ V' and dated 'E lion 20' on the blade. Very nice wood grips with patina on the metal handle. Regimental marked on the end of the pommel '1/77. 2C.441'. Made by 'dot' and dated 1942 and serial numbered '4592 e'. Very nice wood grips with metal handle in the white (no bluing). The upside down blade is excellent and also in the white. Metal scabbard with about 70% bluing remaining marked on the frog stud waffenampt 63. Condition: VG+ Price: $100
Made by 'dot' and dated 1943 and serial numbered '4043 a'. Excellent wood grips with blued metal handle. The upside down blade is excellent with about 95% bluing remaining (in/out wear only). English 1810 Baker Bayonet Indian? (no reference) ![]()

No markings except for a number '880' on the end of the handle. Brass handle with 6 ridges and clamshell. "D" guard. Press stud under handle with leaf spring on top of handle. Overall length was 662mm with a blade length of 553mm. Blade has false edge that is 150mm long. No scabbard. Probably made for India. Very rare. Made by Sanderson and dated 4/09. Very nice wood grips with blued finish on the handle with hooked quillion. Matching numbers with Sh R644 on the pommel and R644 on the throat of the Mk1 all leather scabbard. Excellent blade with light sharpening. Excellent all leather Mk1 scabbard marked with broad arrow 'EFD'. Very nice early matching set.

Handle and crossguard are solid brass and circular grooves go all the way around the handle. The top of the handle is marked 'C66' and the crossguard has several proof marks. Excellent blade with no sharpening and several proof marks. Metal scabbard with some patina. Comes with old US brown leather frog. Rare. French Chassepot bayonet that was modified by machining the pommel down 1-step for about 90mm long (instead of the three step). There were no other modifications to the muzzle ring or press release. The blade is marked 'Mutzig, Mars, 1869'. The crossguard is marked '4.G.II.1.113'. The metal scabbard has a German frog stud and is marked '2.G.L.I.4.223'. Rare conversion. French Chassepot bayonet that was modified by extending the press stud, machining the pommel down 1-step for about 35mm long, the muzzle ring was milled out, and the back of the brass handle was grooved. This bayonet has a rifle sight on the muzzle ring and no hooked quillion (Cavalry model). The pommel, wood grips and blade are very nice with most of bluing remaining (~60%) on the metal surfaces. Straight quillion with slab blade. Excellent finish on the handle and the blade with no sharpening. Made by National Denki (National Electric). Numbered '23826' on the end of the pommel. Very nice wood scabbard with a 3" crack along the bottom. Very nice set. Condition: VG++ Price: $175

Made in Oaxaca, Mexico during the 1960s and 1970s. This particular knife has a Indian head pommel and black plastic or onyx handle. The blade has a crude engraving on both sides. It says 'Que te quiero pard tambor' on one side and 'No te arruques cuero' on the other side. Thin leather sheath is torn about 3" near the tip. Condition: VG+ Price: $40 NORWAY

This bayonet has the very unusual 1 piece wooden grip. Wood grip with circular lines held by two screws. The opposite side is flat steel with a Crown K and release lever on top spine of handle. Blade has crown K and number 1110 on ricasso. Blade is a very long yataghan with light pitting and staining. No scabbard. This bayonet was made from a 1867 Swedish Remington by modifying the muzzle ring with a bent metal bar with a metal slot and the muzzle ring was reduced to 15mm for the 1894 marine carbine. This piece has no makers marks. Nice wood handle with brass pommel. Crossguard marked '53'. Bright yatagan blade with some light sharpening. Brown leather scabbard with internal bottom fitting. Very nice brass handle with working attachment ring on the back of handle and working release knob on the crossguard. Crossguard marked 'A 84'. Long yataghan blade that has been rough cleaned with staining, sharpening and rounded tip. No scabbard. Only 1646 bayonets were made in only year of production in 1855.

Made by triangle 'T'. Triangle T was the inspection mark of Ensign N.C. Twining (NCT) who inspected the first 10,000 Lee Navy rifles and bayonets.
