bulletnew-sign.gif (938 bytes)  Socket bayonet display wall frame.  I think this display originally had a reproduction 1770's socket bayonet (but no bayonet is included in this offering).  Made out of wood with mirror backing.  Measures 29.5" x 6.25" and the diameter of the socket holder dowel is 22mm (bayonet inside diameter should be at least 23mm to fit over dowel).  Made in the mid 1970s by Soriano Ltd as authorized by the US Bicentennial Society.

bulletnew-sign.gif (938 bytes)  Authentic German WW2 German 1944 Standschützen Verband Unit Membership badge which was brought back by my father-in-law from his service in 1942-1944 in the European theatre.  This badge was worn by members of local rifle battalions made up of Ethnic Germans from the Southern Tyrol area of Austria that were called upon to defend their homeland in time of war.

The initial successes, with those it particularly in the campaigns against Poland and Russia the opposing air fleet at the ground to mostly already destroy knew and thus the air rule conquered, is not however not about the fact to mislead that it was only insufficiently prepared for a longer persisting fight. This weakness became already with undertaking eagle, the air war against England, obviously.
